Top 5 Travel List

Jan 9, 2015
Is it Friday already!?

I am here today to share with you my top 5 places I want to travel! There are so many beautiful, wonderful places on this planet that I would love to see and it was hard choosing these. I am always browsing Pinterest trying to find the best tips and best places to visit in each of these places! If you have any I would love to hear them!

I am a firm believer in being a traveler or explorer and NOT a tourist. While I do want to visit many giant tourist attractions, I don't want to only focus on them. I love to explore the smaller, lesser known places to really have a genuine experience. Blending in is a big thing for me, I don't want to look like a common tourist. Visiting places off the beaten path is the best and can give you a true glimpse of the culture around you.

1) London-
Where to start?! Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Eye, a traditional fish and chips meal. My cousin spent a month in London recently and she has a whole list of small places to visit that I can't wait to try! AND of course see as many Harry Potter things as I can!

2) Paris-
Obviously have to see the Eiffel Tower, but I would rather not take the tour or go up it. The Lourve, the Musée D'Orsay, the Tuilleries Gardens are all a must. Shopping at smaller boutiques and eating at small cafés!

3)Rome- I would definitely want to see the Trevi fountain and the Colosseum but I would also want to visit the Campo de' Fiori market, the Vatican, and any place that has homemade gelato and authentic Italian food!

4) Chiang Mai, Thailand
Thailand is such a beautiful country and I really love elephants so Chiang Mai is such a perfect fit! You can stay at certain hotels that have elephants roaming around and there are wildlife sanctuaries where you can play with baby animals like tigers, elephants, and monkeys!
5) Iceland-
I just want to experience everything I possibly can! Iceland is the 4th major coffee consumer in the world and they take their coffee very seriously! I also want to see the Hallgrímskirkja, Church of Hallgrimur in English which is absolutely breathtaking!

What are some of your top travel destinations? Have you visited any of these places before? I would love to hear from you!
